Over the weekend I did as I promised and purchased additional colours of the Garage t-shirt that I'm entirely obsessed with lately. This brings my total shirt count to a whopping 7. Buying multiples of the same piece of clothing is not a new concept for me; last year I went crazy with soft cotton scoop-necks when Joe Fresh was having a $4 shirt sale. You can never have too much of a good thing! I wore the shirts to bed, to work, and everywhere in between.
With the Garage shirts, I intended to just buy the basics: black, white, black on white, white on black, grey, and so on. Then I found this bright fuchsia number. It so perfectly matched a pair of neglected shoes in my closet that I couldn't afford not to buy it. This purple top has brought new life to my worn-once-to-a-job-interview-but-never again Nine West heels--hurray!
I'm in a rush this morning to mail a letter before work, so I'm going to keep this post short--the silly Post Office returned my Mother's Day card for improper postage paid. I used a 2012 stamp and apparently that is a no-no because the prices have since increased. Damn you, inflation!
I thought I'd share an outfit from earlier this week. I probably won't wear it again because I don't particularly love these shoes, but I feel as though my effort to revive them is worth being documented.
Happiest of Wednesdays!! 🙂
Does anyone else have the same problem as me? I wear Size 6.5 shoe and one shoe is always slightly bigger than the other. A lot of stores use 6 or 6.5 as their display size and either the left or the right (depending on which one they leave out) is stretched out from women trying it on all day. I am the lucky one to buy these display sizes if they're out of stock in the back. Small feet problems I guess 🙁 Part of the reason why I don't love these shoes is this--my right foot keeps slipping out.
What fun would a picture be without the expected dog photobomb?
My lipstick also matches my shoes and my shirt. Details!
